Description

This gentle but effective class is for people with chronic conditions such as arthritis, MS, weight issues, stiffness, long covid, limited movement or fatigue, insomnia or stress. Do come and join us if you have mobility issues or find getting up & down from the floor difficult. It might also suit you if you're having to work around an injury or recovering from an operation.

You can do the whole class sitting on the chair or standing - using the chair as a support if necessary. The class includes gentle movements, breath awareness, stretching and strengthening and finishes with a relaxing guided visualisation.

If you are keen to have a more flexible and stronger body and a more peaceful mind but struggle with floor based classes then this class is for you!

The class is usually on Tuesday afternoons from 2 to 3pm in the Methodist Church at the top of Mill Street which is fully accessible. Each class costs £8 and you can pay in cash or by bank transfer on the day of the class.
